Twenty weeks, twenty things worth keeping
Every week is tied to the season. Tuesdays are the first date shown (Kindergarten to Grade 2), Wednesdays the second (Grades 3 to 5).
Fall 2027
October 5 to December 8 · 10 weeks

Thanksgiving turkey hand magnets
Trace a hand, add feathers for the things they’re thankful for, and stick it on the fridge.
Week 2
Oct 12 & 13
Coaster designing
A fall-themed ceramic coaster, drawn with acrylic markers and sealed to last.
Week 3
Oct 19 & 20
Spooky canvas painting
Ghosts, pumpkins and haunted houses on a real canvas.
Week 4
Oct 26 & 27
Trick-or-treat tote bag
Their own Halloween bag, finished with glow-in-the-dark paint, ready for the big night.
Week 5
Nov 2 & 3
Mug painting
A ceramic mug to keep or to gift. A quick bake at home makes it dishwasher safe.
Week 6
Nov 9 & 10
Design a doorknob hanger
“Do not disturb”, their name, a favourite animal. Markers and stickers on wood.
Week 7
Nov 16 & 17
Friendship bracelets
Beaded bracelets in fall and winter colours. Spell a name, make a pattern, make one for a friend.
Week 8
Nov 23 & 24
DIY snow globe
A sealed mason-jar snow globe with a tiny snowman or tree, glitter and snowflakes.
Week 9
Nov 30 & Dec 1
Paint your Christmas ornament
A ceramic ornament for the tree, the kind families keep for years.
Week 10
Dec 7 & 8
Reindeer headbands
Antlers, jingle bells and a red nose. Worn straight out the door.
Spring 2028

Valentine’s Day card workshop
A handmade card and envelope for someone special, with washi tape and punched hearts.
Week 2
Feb 15 & 16
Spring canvas painting
Flower gardens, rainbows and butterfly meadows on canvas.
Week 3
Feb 22 & 23
Rock painting
Ladybugs, bees and emoji faces on smooth river rocks, sealed to go in the garden.
Week 4
Feb 29 & Mar 1
Spring flower crowns
Daisies, sunflowers and leaves on a headband.
Week 5
Mar 7 & 8
DIY tote bag
A painted bag they will actually use. Library books, beach days, all of it.
Week 6
Mar 14 & 15
DIY bookmarks
Wooden bookmarks with lettering, stickers and their own design.
Week 7
Mar 21 & 22
Easter baskets
A mini basket filled with paper grass, eggs, a bunny and a fuzzy chick.
Week 8
Mar 28 & 29
Friendship bracelets
Round two, in spring and summer colours.
Week 9
Apr 4 & 5
Paint a flower pot
A painted terracotta pot with seeds planted inside, ready to grow at home.
Week 10
Apr 11 & 12
Someone special frame
A painted wooden frame around a photo of someone they love. The term’s keepsake.
Snow day or Pro-D day? No session is lost. That week’s class moves to the school’s backup day or is added to the end of the term.
